The People Behind the Power of the Room.

Every member of South Shelby Connectors has been voted in by the room. That means when you meet one of us, you're meeting someone the whole group trusts — someone who shows up, follows through, and earns their referrals by doing the work right.

We operate on a one-seat-per-industry principle. That means every member has full ownership of their category inside our group — no internal competition, no divided loyalty, and total clarity about who to call for what.

Scroll through and meet the professionals who make up our room. If you don't see the category you need, reach out — our members know who to trust, even outside the group.

Dog Trainer

Rhodes K9 Academy

is about offering high-quality dog training, which helps educate owners throughout central Alabama using a balanced training approach, while also raising awareness of the importance through Stay and Train programs with pet obedience. We at Rhodes K9 Academy focus on helping owners build a strong relationship with their dog by giving the owner an effective communication system that works both physically and mentally for the dog. We help address any concerns the owners may have by assessing the dog and the environment that's causing the dog to react to its environment. We address all things puppy, from crate training, puppy biting, to seniors that want to stay mentally sharp by evaluating the diet, staying active, and watching weight. All dogs may not want a job, but all dogs need a job. We offer a variety of services from basic obedience to advanced obedience, tracking, scent detection, and protection work.

Digital Marketing

Most small business owners start with a spark, an idea, a calling, a desire to do meaningful work. That’s how I began too.

After years of building businesses, I suffered from burn out under the weight of missing or disorganized systems, unfinished courses, and marketing that never seemed to stick, I knew there had to be a better way.
Back in 2010, I left my 9-to-5, packed my bags, and moved to a Mexican Caribbean island. Why? Because I craved freedom. I wanted to be my own boss, live life on my terms, and build something that actually felt good to wake up to.
So I did. I built businesses and created my own jobs from the ground up. And along the way, I learned what works, and what definitely doesn’t.

I learned the difference between having a job and having a business. It takes leadership and systems to accomplish this.

I learned that success doesn’t come from working harder or longer hours. It comes from having the right systems in place.

Systems that let you scale, serve your clients better, and actually take a day off without the stress.

Entertainment

Clanton’s first theater opened in 1909 in Chandler’s Building. Over the years, several theaters operated in town under different names before Charles Wade opened the Wadesonian Theatre in 1922 inside the old First Baptist Church building. After a fire destroyed the church theater in 1923, Wade reopened the Wadesonian on the west side of the railroad in 1924.

In 1936, Charles Wade and his son opened the “New Wadesonian Theatre,” while the original location continued operating. Wade also owned theaters in several nearby towns. The New Wadesonian closed in 1956, and the original Wadesonian continued showing movies into the 1970s, with one of the last known films being The Golden Voyage of Sinbad in 1973.
